Binns and Associates is a multi-faceted consulting company incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania. It provides consulting services, education and practical application to public safety individuals, organizations and government entities, with extensive expertise in emergency medical services, emergency management agencies, and medical facilities.

Everitt F. Binns, Ph.D. holds his doctorate in Organizational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction and has a broad-based background and experience in public safety. Ev has numerous professional certifications and teaching/training credentials in leadership, management, communications, public safety and emergency services. The associates offer diverse backgrounds and experiences to enhance our company’s potential.

Currently, Binns and Associates conducts business throughout the United States and has future plans to provide services on an International Level.

Binns and Associates’ core programs include courses of instruction in: Emergency Services, Healthcare, Incident Command Systems, Bio-terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Response Exercises and Leadership/Management Programs. All courses have a state or national curriculum and all instructors are certified to teach each specific program. As a result of each course, participants earn a certificate to acknowledge their accomplishment and meet established standards for Homeland Security recommendations.

The consulting capabilities of Binns and Associates combine the need for documents, personnel education and practical application. Binns and Associates will assist with the development of planning documents, resource development protocols and guidelines to adapt national standards to the specific needs of the organization or agency. Binns and Associates can also assist with administrative activities such as needs assessment, disaster and operational plans as well as report preparation that will justify the importance of the activity.

Another area of expertise for Binns and Associates is serving as subject matter experts for the development of educational programs. Binns and Associates personnel were instrumental in the development of the “new” sixteen (16) hour Incident Command System for EMS program for the National Fire Academy. Other curriculum development activities of Binns and Associates personnel include on-line courses such as EMS Mass Care and Hospital Decontamination.
