Assessments, Evaluations, and Quality Improvement

How do you know if the education received by your staff will result in an appropriate response in an emergency situation?

Binns and Associates can assist with the evaluation of your personnel, you preparedness resources and most importantly, the effectiveness of your Emergency Response Plan.

Binns and Associates can provide customized evaluation methods to determine the cognitive and technical knowledge and skills of your personnel. These evaluations can be for individuals, the agency or company or even the government.

For the purposes of emergency preparedness, Binns and Associates have adopted the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) for conducting, analyzing and reporting an emergency exercise. The HSEEP was developed by the Office of Domestic Preparedness to define a standard for emergency exercises. It is important that these standards be used to assure proper reporting and receipt of funding opportunities. Binns and Associates understands the importance of emergency exercises and wants to assure our clients meet all requirements established by the Department of Homeland Security.

Other assessments can be performed for other areas of operations of your agency or organization. Assessments are the basis of the development of quality improvement activities. Assessments will define the current methods of operations which, when analyzed, can identify specific areas for improvement. Examples of these assessments could include Risk Assessment or Vulnerability Analysis.

Let Binns and Associates serve as your “independent” agent to conduct assessments, perform analyses and identify the areas of improvement. To discuss your project and what Binns and Associates can do for you, contact a member of our staff.
